Volcano Goddess Pele, Transformation and Creation

Since May 2018 Volcano Goddess Pele has been more active than ever on the Big Island. Creation and transformation are her daily ritual. Molten lava continues its relentless, unstoppable flow down Kilauea volcano. Pele is known for her passionate and fiery temperament. Pele is Ka wahine 'ai honua, the woman who devours the land.

When Pele meets the ocean billowing clouds of steam and tiny particles of volcanic gas flow over the coastline.

The people of Hawaii know that the wrath of Pele can be destructive,
but it is a part of nature that is not to be disturbed.

Halemaumau Crater, the eruptive vent, explodes, collapses and expands on a daily basis. Halemaumau Crater is Pele's home.
It is located about 30 miles from Wood Valley in Ka'u, where I live. We are not affected by the lava, but there are the daily ash fall, the sulfur air and the many earthquakes. Everything changed since the volcano started erupting. It leaves me in a state of humbleness, fear, anticipation, uneasiness as well as admiration. Very confusing feelings!

Of course, Madame Pele’s outbursts have greatly inspired my creations.

Pele offers her passion to remind us that life’s fiery eruptions
often clear the path for positive transformations.

Aloha Spirit of the Angels

Lani (Heaven), the Guardian Angel
Birthdate: Lulai 21, 2018 (07/21/18)

Welcome Lani as your guardian angel!
She is devoted to protecting and guiding you on your life’s journey.

The sacred rhythm of the Ipu echoes across the ‘Aina (land) calling Lani, the Menehune Guardian Angel to earth. Lani is named after her home Lanikeha, the high sky.
Lani carries a candle in her sacred Pupu (shell), which invokes blessings of the divine. The heavenly light of Lani’s candle illuminates the paths of the Menehune’s lives on earth.
The Menehunes know Lani always watches over them enlightening their lives with her angelic presence. Hearing the divine drumming of the Ipu in the distance, the Menehunes sense that Lani is near. Sometimes she allows them a glance at the heavenly glow of her candle or a glimpse of her angelic white feather wings passing by to remind them how brightly the Aloha spirit is shining from their own souls. All they have to do is call and Lani appears offering her wisdom and guidance.

Lani wears a white dress with a big pink Puakenikeni flower in the front, white crocheted panties and matching shoes.

Her Maile Haku (head lei) with the fragrant, pink Puakenikeni flowers represents spiritual strength, unity and love.
The angel wings are crafted out of real white feathers.

Lani is about 4” tall, fitting in the palm of your hand. The body is made out of stretch cotton and wired for flexibility. The eyes and mouth are intricately embroidered onto the face. Lani has tiny little hands and feet, ears, buttocks, and a belly button. All accessories were individually handcrafted.
Doll care: Gently brush the dolls and their clothing with a soft dry toothbrush to remove dust. Always brush the faces and bodies upwards towards the hair.

Lani is a one of a kind display doll handcrafted by Hawaiian Dolls. She is a collector’s item bringing you the spiritual power of Hawaii. Lani comes with her story and a certificate of authenticity.

Lani is ready to be your new friend and shine her way into your heart.
Lani’s Mana (spiritual energy) radiates unconditional Aloha.
