The Music of Hawaii

Daniel, the Ukulele Player
Birthdate: Malaki 21, 2023 (03/21/23)

Daniel’s music illuminates life with joy and happiness!

Living Hawaii’s Aloha spirit, Daniel has all the time in the world. Carefree, he meanders through the beautiful forest in the Kaiholena Mountains cherishing all he sees, hears, and feels. Wonderful and exciting things keep happening. Everywhere he goes he is greeted with kindness and abundance: the sun warms his body, the birds sing their most beautiful songs, flowers open to embrace him with their sweet scent. When he is hungry a big yellow Mai’a (banana) appears on his path. The small mountain stream offers cool, fresh water for him to drink his fill.

The delightful sound of Daniel’s Ukulele echoes across the Aina (land) accompanying his songs about the Menehune Ohana (family), Hawaiian animals, the forest, the ocean, and the stars in the Universe.

Daniel reminds us that there is always more than enough time to fulfill all desires.
His cheerful Mana (Spiritual Energy) brightens up the day with love and laughter.

Daniel’s Tutu (grandmother) wove her Mana and Aloha into the Maile lei he wears around his neck. Maile is the lei of eternal love.
Tutu also sewed Daniel‘s red Aloha shirt with a Puakenikeni lei design and black long pants. Last she crafted his traditional grass skirt.
The Ukulele was Kuku’s (grandfather’s) gift of lasting love and Aloha to his beloved Mo’opuna Kane (grandson). It is Daniel’s most cherished possession. He holds it even when he goes to sleep.

Daniel is a 10” tall cloth doll. He was individually handcrafted on the Big Island of Hawaii with the greatest love and respect for all that is Hawaii.

The body is made out of doll skin, stuffed with high quality poly fill and wired for flexibility. The eyes and mouth are intricately embroidered onto the face giving the doll a unique personality. All accessories were individually hand crafted.
Daniel is not dress up doll. All clothing and accessories are sewn and/or glued onto him.

Doll care: Gently brush the dolls and their clothing with a soft toothbrush to remove dust. Always brush the faces and bodies upwards towards the hair. Do not brush the hair!

Daniel is a one of a kind Hawaiian Art Doll and comes with a booklet and certificate of authenticity. He is a display doll and collector’s item bringing you the spiritual power of Hawaii.

Every bit of Daniel has been lovingly handcrafted to create a new friend who will last a lifetime.

Daniel is ready to be your new friend and sing his way into your heart.

Lucy, Goddess of the Surf

Lucy, Goddess of the Surf
Birth Date: Malaki 21, 2023 (03-21-17)

Lucy inspires us to surrender to the waves of life with focus and balance, allowing them to safely carry us to our highest goals.

He'e Wahine I Ka Lani!

Lucy is a Goddess in the Surf!

He'e Ana I Ka Lala,

Ho'iana I Kamuku

Sliding across the face of a wave,

returning to the curl.

Lucy's best friend and greatest teacher is the ocean.

When the surf is up, Lucy runs down to Punalu’u Black Sands Beach. She can’t wait to get into the ocean. Her heart dances with Hopupu (excitement) as she eagerly anticipates the challenges of the great waves.
Lucy loves the Pacific Ocean and the surf has been her greatest teacher, evoking deep respect and humbleness within her. She knows that every wave presents a challenge of going with its flow. Lucy watches the waves, feels them inside, and connects to their Mana (spiritual energy).
She flies along the sea on her Olo (surfboard), riding the waves with focus and balance. Lucy finds the perfect attitude between tension and flexibility and rides the great wave home. It is the very best feeling in the world.

Surfing is magical; it has become her way of life!

Lucy is a Goddess in the surf!

Lucy and her Kuku (grandfather) made the Olo (surfboard) together. First, they chose the right Hawaiian Wiliwili tree for the board. Before cutting the tree, they faced towards the sea and said a prayer of thanks for the wood they would use. They honored the spirit of the tree by burying a fish beneath it. Last Lucy and Kuku drew a big Kahiki (pineapple) on the Olo.
Lucy just loves eating Kahikis!
The wooden Olo is Lucy’s most treasured possession. She always carries it with her, even when she goes to sleep.

Lucy’s Tutu (grandmother) sewed her blue and yellow pineapple swimsuit. She wove a Lauhala hat with a green Hulu (feather) lei to protect Lucy from the sun. Last Tutu lovingly put a fragrant Plumeria flower in her hair.
All these things were Tutu’s and Kuku's sacred gifts of Aloha (Love) to their beloved Mo'opuna Wahine (granddaughter).

Lucy is a 7” tall cloth doll. She was individually handcrafted on the Big Island of Hawaii with the greatest love and respect for all that is Hawaii.

The body is made out of doll skin, stuffed with high quality poly fill and wired for flexibility. The eyes and mouth are intricately embroidered onto the face giving the doll a unique personality. All accessories were individually hand crafted.
Lucy is not dress up doll. All clothing and accessories are sewn and/or glued onto her.

Doll care: Gently brush the dolls and their clothing with a soft toothbrush to remove dust. Always brush the faces and bodies upwards towards the hair. You may gently comb her hair.

Lucy is a one of a kind Hawaiian Art Doll and comes with a booklet and certificate of authenticity. She is a display doll and collector’s item bringing you the spiritual power of Hawaii.
Every bit of Lucy has been lovingly handcrafted to create a new friend who will last a lifetime.

She is ready to be your new friend and surf her way into your heart.

Kaiona, Goddess of the Lost

“E Kaiona aloha I kuhia mai ke `ala.”
O Beloved Kaiona, Goddess of the Lost, let the pathway be pointed out.

Kaiona’s name means beautiful ocean. She is a goddess of great spiritual wisdom guiding those who need help with the gentle kindness of her loving heart.
Kaiona helps anyone who loses his way in the mountains by sending her ‘Iwa bird to guide them onto the right

“He lokomaika‘i ka manu o Kaiona. Kind is the bird of Kaiona.”

Kaiona offers physical and spiritual guidance for those who are lost in body or soul. Sometimes the soul is adrift in darkness and confusion. Wherever we are, Kaiona awaits our call, gracing us with her loving presence to illuminate a path into the light.

The enchanting Aloha spirit of the Goddess of the Lost inspired the creation of Magical Hawaiian Art Dolls  Kaiona and 'Iwa.

Kaiona is named after the kindhearted Hawaiian Goddess of the Lost. Kaiona means “Beautiful Ocean”.

Kaiona has a loving, gentle heart and never-ending compassion for those in need of help.

Kaiona’s Aumakua (ancestral spirit) is ‘Iwa, the indigenous Hawaiian frigate bird. Together, Kaiona and ‘Iwa walk through the sacred Ohia forest offering guidance and support to all who are lost in body or souls.
If anybody wanders off in the forest, Kaiona asks ‘Iwa to lead him to the proper path.
‘Iwa soars and glides gracefully through the air, guiding the lost back to their Ohana (family). Celebrating their loved one’s safe return, the Ohana chants:

”He lokomaika‘i ka manu o Kaiona.”
Kind is the bird of Kaiona.

Sometimes people feel sad and confused. They then call on Kaiona, who always appears without fail to share her insights and provide guidance and comfort. Kaiona’s kindhearted Mana (spiritual energy) helps to resolve all worries and troubles. Soon everybody once again wears big smiles of happiness and contentment on their faces.

Kaiona’s dress and her matching panties are like a beautiful cascading shower of red flowers.
